The Catbird Seat is Nashvilleโs most sought after reservation. It is often described as an โexperienceโ. The restaurant has only 22 seats, surrounding a โUโ shaped kitchen. The Chef prepares 12-14 mini courses right in front of you. You become part of the experience. Reservations can be made online, but availability may be 1-2 months out. You can book 1-4 in your party, and its currently $115 per person. However, itโs been said, โItโs worth the wait and every single penny!โ Or as one Trip Advisor poster says, โOMG, get a reservation and GO!โ

Although originally located in Nolensville, Martinโs now has a location in Nashville. Martinโs has been showcased on the Cooking Channel, Food Network, Travel Channel, and The Today Show. As well, Martinโs has been published in Bon Appetit, Conde Nast Traveler, Menโs Journal and Esquire. Located in the Gulch, and housed in a redesigned storage container, this unique restaurant offers a 45-seat restaurant, serving a delicious menu, fantastic cocktails and the largest whiskey collection in Nashville.

Hattie Bโs is another famous hot chicken, hotspot in Nashville. Hattie Bโs has locations in Midtown and Sylvan Park, and one opening soon in the Melrose community. The chicken is serve in a range of clever temperatures from โSouthernโ (no heat) to โshut the cluck up!!!โ (burn notice).

Traditional Thai food runs in the family at Thai Esane! Nina Sayasack puts together a menu full of hot and delicious cuisine. A place you will not want to miss, Thai Esane is located on trendy 12th Avenue South near the Gulch.

Located in the Wedgewood-Houston area, Claire Meneely operates a bakery and cafรฉ that offers daily fresh baked breads and pastries. No bun puns intended, but the proverbial โline out the doorโ weekenders show you that โthe proof is in the bread puddingโ

Created by parent company Cracker Barrel, Holler & Dash is a โfine-casualโ biscuit restaurant. Located in Hill Center in Brentwood, Holler & Dash offers a menu of delectable biscuits. You will also find favorite salads, beignets, breakfast bowls, parfaits, sides and drinks on their menu. Catering and online orders are available.
JACK’S B-QUE
One of the most popular places to eat on Lower Broadway, the founder of this restaurant is an icon in the art of bar-b-que. He made his own signature style of bar-b-que by combining Texas style with the Tennessee style. Jack Cawthon was even featured on the television show Jeopardy in 2011, as the answer to the question, โThe Bar-B-Que King, whose restaurant overlooks the Rymanโ. Today there are 3 locations; Broadway, Trinity Lane and Charlotte Avenue.
LOVELESS CAFE
Southern comfort food at its finest. From the first bite, youโll know why Loveless Cafรฉ makes every โto do while in Nashville listโ. The Cafรฉ opened in the 1950โs, and has since become a Nashville institution. The biscuits are divine, but the menu goes on to offer delicious southern style chicken, fish and beef. With options like watermelon ribs and shrimp and grits, you must be careful to make room for the fresh made sweet jams and pies. Loveless Cafรฉ also offers lunch and dinner.

Beginning as a grocer, gas station and restaurant in the 1950โs, Puckettโs has grown into a local favorite, with 5 locations. Puckettโs serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and has a local music artist or band that plays every night. For breakfast, try Bubbaโs Eggs Benedict, and for lunch or dinner try a Strawberry Fields Salad or Peach Glazed Pork Chops. Yum!
