Bordering Percy Warner Park, home of the Iroquois Steeplechase where tail gating means mint juleps and fantastic hats, Belle Meade was once home to world-renowned thoroughbreds whose bloodlines still dominate racing today.

In its heyday, Belle Meade Plantation and its Greek Revival Style homestead entertained Presidents and Generals alike. Today the 30-acre grounds serve as museum in honor of the city that bears its name.
While Belle Meade is primarily residential, it is located just 5 miles southwest from Vanderbilt University with access to Hillsboro Village and its fantastic variety of eateries and boutiques as well as Centennial Park which regularly hosts art and food fairs. Radnor Lake, voted Tennessee’s State Park of the Year in 2015, is just 5 miles southeast and offers miles of walking trails where you’re sure to see owls, deer and other wildlife.
